Having been customers at the restaurant at the New England Center for many years, we were shocked and very disappointed with our experience on Thanksgiving Day. We had not been back for about 10 yrs. after having dined there at least three times/mo. The food was cold and unpalatable...rather like that which would be served to elderly hospital patients....no flavor, very poor quality and in many cases meat that was beyond identity. The dining room is shoddy. Having a handicapped individual with us, sans wheelchair, we were shocked that the waiting area had no decent place to sit....cushion seating almost on the floor...and we were shocked to find that the rest rooms had toilets, again almost on the floor with very thoughlessly placed assist bars. The wait staff was wonderful...although barely needed since this was a buffet. Although we had talked fondly of returning for Sunday brunch and weekday lunch or evening dinners with entertainment, we will rething all this because the dinner, at the price they charged, was definitely an insult and we apologized to our guests.
