Aunt Maude's in Ames, IA - Restaurant I thought the food was very good and comparable to similar restaurants in bigger metropolitan areas. That being said, I also think the food is way overpriced. That may have something to do with the fact that it is the only restaurant of its kind in Ames (as far as I know). The ambience is very conse... amesbeat.com
