No title - expert review Conveniently located in the heart of historic Dublin, next the River Liffey across from Heuston railway station, the Best Western Ashling Hotel has a proud reputation of offering a personal service second to none. A comfortable Tourist Class option - user review After several days in a noisy London room, the Ashling offered a welcome chance to sleep in quiet. The cause of that quiet may be a drawback for some since it occurs because the Ashling is outside Dublin City Centre, about a 20 minute walk. This is easily mitigated by the LUAS high speed tram system... expedia.com
Out Dated - user review The room was completely out dated. The rugs, bedspreads were old and stained. The bathroom was dark and small. The person at the front desk was not very helpful or friendly. I had to go down to the desk 3 times to have my phone turned on! Traveler's tip on recreational activities.I highly recommend ... expedia.com
Dublin at Your Doorstep - user review We stayed at the Best Western Ashling for three nights and found it a great location from which to see Dublin. It is only a three minute walk from Houston Station and the Airlink Bus, and a ten minute bus or streetcar ride from all of the action. Breakfast is great, and the Bar staff is friendly and... expedia.com

No title - user review Front desk clerk was a little snooty. She assigned us a room knowing there was no heat in there I found this out when we called the desk and she said, Oh, you're in 347...we're working on the heat right now in the boiler room and it would come on in an hour. She did send up a portable heater to warm... mytravelguide.com

No title - user review Not at all what I would expect from a 3 star rated property. The rooms did not even have alarm clocks! Maid service was less than adequate. Hot water ran out quickly. Coffee pot was not in good working condition. TV was extremely fuzzy and hard to watch. No heat in the room! We had to have a portabl... mytravelguide.com
No title - user review The Ashling is conveniently located near a major train/bus terminal in Dublin, which more than compensates for its distance away from the city center. The BW Ashling is also very near to one of Dublin's major tourist attractions, the Guiness Brewery! My major gripe with the hotel was the overall cle... mytravelguide.com
No title - user review The Best Western Ashling is a lovely choice for a stay in Dublin, with only one caveat if you need the area right outside your hotel to be full of excitement, this is not the place for you. No title - user review The hotel is a bit from the city center, but easily can be reached by bus or a 15 minute walk. I would not consider it a 3 star hotel, even according to European standards. No title - user review This hotel is located near the Houston train station. It is located on the Luas tram line for easy access into city center. No title - user review This hotel, known to Dublin cab drivers as The Brothel has completely reinvented itself and has succeeded in becoming a wholesome, family oriented hotel.
