Betina is a place with a population of some 813, at an altitude of 12 m. It is a port on the Island of Murter in the Sibenik Archipelago. Betina is known for its shipyard, where yachts and fishing boats are built and repaired. The parish Church of St. Francis was built in 1608. There are ruins of the Roman Colleton in the vicinity. The place has a beautiful beach called Slanica. | |
