No title - expert review This small, formal, and stylish town-house hotel offers a peaceful sanctuary, complete with serene garden and restrained Art Nouveau stylings. Located in a trio of quaint 19th-century five-story town houses, its exterior is fitted out with wrought-iron balconies, cute gables, and the usual ugly roof... fodors.com
No title - expert review One block from the Van Gogh Museum and from the elegant Pieter Cornelisz Hooftstraat shopping street, the Jan Luyken is best described as a small hotel with many of the amenities and facilities of a big hotel. Everything here is done with perfect attention to detail. The Jan Luyken maintains a balan... frommers.com
No title - expert review Located in a quiet area close to the museums and a short walk from the Leidseplein and the designer shops on the fashionable P.C. Hoofstraat, the Bilderberg Jan Luyken is a small, friendly hotel with lots of character and charm. Rooms are comfortable with a tasteful art deco design and the cosy loun... hotelconnect.co.uk
Id stay here again... - user review As other reviews have mentioned, this is a great boutique hotel. It is located within a five minute walk of several museums, chic designer label shopping (Chanel, Bally, Dolce & Gabbana, Cartier, etc.) & dining (too many to suggest). The Leidsplien and Heineken Experience are also within a ten minut... expedia.com
Will stay there again for sure... - user review It rained most of the time we were there (Thanksgiving week) and was a bit cold, but the hotel was exactly what we were looking for. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The one recommendation we asked for dinner was spectacular! The regular rooms are small but normal for Europe, howe... expedia.com
Lovely and convenient - user review Our room overlooked a small but leafy courtyard and was very clean, well equipped, and comfortable. The common areas such as the lobby, bar, and breakfast room, were tastefully decorated with Art Deco tiles and other touches. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great one block to t... expedia.com

Nice place in Amsterdam - user review Second time at this hotel and this time was even better. Had two rooms one for my wife and myself, and one for my two children. Extremely close to the museums. Very chic Shopping area's nearby (my daughters loved this) not my wallet: ). Hard rock is right down the street. We had a great time. Family... expedia.com

Great Location Great Hotel - user review This hotel was great. Good breakfast, great bar and outside patio. The only down side to this hotel was the size of the room. I believe that my Ford Expedition has more sq. footage than this room. With that said the bathroom had been recently renovated and the front desk was very friendly. The locat... expedia.com
Immaculate, upscale, modern, tiny rooms - user review We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms, though tiny, are efficient and very modern. We faced the street and had a nice big window. The lobby, and the downstairs rooms were all nicely decorated. Service was excellent and we got a lot of good advice. Breakfast was expensive, 16 euros, so we did not bothe... expedia.com
Excellent location - user review We were close to museums, some shopping, canal boats and bus tours. The rooms were small. The one that we reserved needed to be upgraded to fit our suitcases (we had more than usual because of the beginning of our trip) and even at that it was small. We had airconditioning..... a plus in the unusual... expedia.com
quaint yet posh... - user review a lovely little hotel. small quarters indeed, but what taste... great deal of attention paid to the architectural detail of the small space provided. staff went out of their way to help us have the optimal experience of amsterdam. the breakfast is incredibly expensive (didn't even give it a try), bu... fodors.com
No title - user review We changed rooms twice, the first time because there was too much noise from the elevators, and the second time because the room only had twin beds. Many or most of the rooms have twin beds, which is common in Amsterdam, but our 3rd room, which required an upgrade fee, at least had the twin beds sem... mytravelguide.com
