Brestovac Travel Guide

Brestovac is a municipality with a population of 700, located 7 km east from Pozega. The roads for Nova Gradiska and Pakrac lead from there. It is an old settlement and it was mentioned as a parish in 1334. The parish church of St Martin was built in 1760. The place has been destroyed many times, mostly under the Turks. There are several historical ruins in the surrounded area. The place is called Pozeaski Brestovac (Brestovac of Pozega).
