Good Location, Good Price for NYC - user review But in any other city this place'd be a real dump! The location is fantastic and the price, for NYC is as good as it gets for a decent sized room w/a little combo stove/sink/fridge thingy. They've done what they can to make this old run down hotel as nice as it can be but its a horrible old drafty b... expedia.com
I will certainly stay at Chelsea Inn again next time - user review Chelsea Inn is a very clean and quiet hotel, except of course for the streetnoise, but that's were earplugs come in handy. We, both smokers, were allowed to smoke in our room, which makes life in NY with its strict no smoking rules less complicated. So did Nana's breakfast place with its delicious s... expedia.com
Great location for a good price. Highly recommend it - user review It's a couple of blocks away from all the major subway lines, shopping, restaurants, union square. There's a belgian restaurant right next door that is to die for ( Petite Abeille ). Don't worry about the semi private bathrooms... you barely see the people you're sharing them with. I never had to wa... expedia.com

Hardest mattress Ive ever seen - user review Seriously, the mattress didn't even squish down more than half an inch when I sat down on it. It felt as soft as a cracker. And the door between the room and the shared bathroom had a huge gap with respect to the door frame, so the neighbor could easily break into your room with only a credit card. ... expedia.com
Old and small, but still very nice - user review The room were quit small and the furnishing a bit old, but still i had its scharm. It was quit and the bathroom was updated. The hotel staff were very kind. A bonus was the breakfeastbag we got from the little store next door. The hotel was not located right in he hot spot, but still close to subway... expedia.com
a small room redefined - user review The staff was friendly and the location, although not picturesque, was handy to parks, transportation and shopping. You really get the feel of New York hanging out your open window watching the garbage trucks at 5AM and listening to the sounds of the city waking up. Up three flights of incredably st... expedia.com
No title - user review I did not even give this hotel one star because it was atrocious. There was no elevator to carry luggage up the four flights of stars. My partner and I had to carry four very large suitcases that barely even fit up the staircase. The rooms were small and infested with bugs. The day we left I counted... hostelz.com
No title - user review I was horrified to learn from several different people that they paid cash for more than one night, did not get a receipt, and then were called to the office the next day to pay again. They were forced to pay twice. One of the victims was from Japan, and two were from Australia. Several of the toile... hostelz.com
No title - user review This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We stayed on the fifth floor (no elevator). The room was dirty, there were no simple amenities such as coat hangers, the safe in the room didn't work, and there was a very bad odor throughout the place, which was sickening. If that weren't bad enough, ... hostelz.com
