No title - user review Best views ever!!! Plan on staying a few extra days, this palce is hard to leave! I originally stayed in the hotel, but hell, the barn is way cooler. Or just sleep in the lobby or on a couch or outside! That's the point, the Farm is whatever you make of it. Staff can be a little obnoxious because th... hostelz.com
No title - user review Dirty, shabby, and vermin infested are the first things that spring to mind. The pictures are misleading and the description a fraud. If you are into staying drunk/stoned in an environment that mirrors the worst side of American culture (yes, the USA has a very good side) then fall into this pit and... hostelz.com
No title - user review I planned on staying three nights at the Funny Farm in September 2003 two and a half weeks later we were still there! This was one of the best hostels I've stayed at, and I've been travelling for almost two years. Granted, it was off season so we didn't stay out the back (we were in the converted do... hostelz.com
No title - user review If you are going for the cheap dorm room you are staying not in the hotelly part of this weirdo combo hostel but in the way back in these getto old houses. The room are old and beds are old. There wasn't too much hot water in the showers either. I think Interlaken overall is way overrated. I say eit... hostelz.com
No title - user review Only stay here if you are young and want to party. It is dirty and smelly and nothing works. The rooms are drafty, mainly because the windows are broken and the doors don't work. The beer is expensive, and they shuffle you from bar to bar. On the positive side, they have regular party life and every... hostelz.com
No title - user review Read this before you stay here. I stayed two nights. The second night we switched rooms because of the noise. I switched rooms due to noise. We checked in to our second room, which was converted horse stalls, complete with feed trophs. Which wouldnt have been bad unless one ten feet from my bed didn... hostelz.com
No title - user review The above picture was certainly not where we stayed. We arrived with a family only to find everything was not as advertised. I recommend anyone looking for a place to seriously think about staying somewhere else. Funny Farm is a joke as far as we were concerned.... hostelz.com
No title - user review The Funny Farm hostel, well, I wouldn't call it a hostel, I'd call it a cess pit. The carpet was the most yellowish colour of grey I have ever seen. It felt like walking on putty. It was probably a biological hazard!!! The beds were BROKEN, with a smelly sheet. The shower I wouldn't even let my dog ... hostelz.com
No title - user review The only choice to stay in Interlaken. 3 words.. party, party, party. During the day you go on adventures (Canyoning is an absolut must) and at night you drink and party with friends you just met. There is also a small club near funny farm with Top 40 American music to dance all night. The beds were... hostelz.com
No title - user review The reason that I gave the Funny Farm a five star rating is not because of how glamorous and nice the hostel was. It was based on my experience at the Funny Farm. To be quiet honest it was the most amazing weekend of my life to say the least. I stayed at the Funny Farm in 2001, and three years later... hostelz.com
No title - user review This is a great place to stay, and it's easy here to book any adventure you want with an alpine raft. A must is the 450 ft bungee jump from the c... hostelz.com
No title - user review This place is awesome. honestly, at first i didnt like it. There was a hole in our door and the windows had no blinds, plus the bathroom and showers were three floors down. It ended up growing on me though, and i was really sad to leave and wanted to stay for another week! all the people we met at t... hostelz.com
No title - user review This place was the worst hostel I stayed at. It's not even a hostel I felt like I was at camp again. It was loud at night, and the rooms were filthy. I don't even want to bring up the washrooms. BRING A SLEEP SHEET, I got bed bugs. If you're into partying than stay here. It's far from the station, a... hostelz.com
No title - user review We stayed in a four person ensuite. Gorgeous mountain views from our huge balcony and out the window. Waking up to the Alps is special. Spacious rooms, friendly people. Average bathroom, but not too bad. Prices (for Switzerland) seemed reasonable. The hostel It is actually a converted hotel from the... hostelz.com
No title - user review When I arrived, I found the reception staff to be not just rude but sometimes just plain mean. I thought maybe they just don't take kindly to backpackers who show up without reservations (such as myself), but as far as I observed in my two or three nights there, they're like that all the time, regar... hostelz.com
A few words from Big Joe - user review Opened to the public in 1998, this wild little youth hostel is a fun place to stay. What ever it may lack in the usual hotel amenities it makes up for many times over with its uniq... travel.yahoo.com
