Islam Grcki is located on the Posidarije-Smiljcici road with a population of about 1130 at an elevation of 166 meters above sea--level. The castles of the dearly cherished folk hero who became the subject of more than one folk song, Stojan Jankovic, an ancient church, large meadows and pine forests can be seen here. Next to the tower is a Turkish nisan (tomb-stone), a Roman urn and a pillar of Egyptian granite that once decorated the Peristil of the Diocletian's palace in Split. The church of Saint Nikola was built in 1756, and is located in Islam Latinski, 4 km from Islam Grcki. Both places sustained extensive damage in the course of the Croatian war for independence in 1992.

Jasenica was completely destroyed in the Croatian war for independence. Its reconstruction began in 1996. It is located on the Obrovac-Zadar road. The parish church of St. Jeronim was built in 1874. and destroyed in the war in 1991 by the Serbian chetniks. The church of St. Francis was built on Velebit in 1841 at an elevation of 684 meters as the sign of thankfulness to the Austrian emperor Franjo I who had roads built in the charming region of Velebit between the Dalmatian Obrovac and St. Rok (Sveti Rok) in Lika. The former "Glinica" factory stood in this county. This bauxite processing facility never opened for business. It was pulled down in 1995 and sold as scrap metal.
