Istarske Toplice is a sanatorium in the valley of Mirna on the Buzet - Pula road. The radioactive hot-water spring beneath high rocks are used since the Roman times for treatment of thematic diseases. Today, this is a modern sanatorium for treatment of coronary,, respiratory and skin diseases, as well as the diseases of feminine reproductive organs, poisonings with heavy metals and other chronic diseases, for which a curative mixture of water and hydrogen sulfide is used. Hotel and dependence "Mirna" and "Sveti Stefan" are parts of the sanatorium. Appealing excursion destinations Motovun forest and the town of Motovun are in the area.
