Kula Norinska is a municipality with a population of 390 situated on the left bank of the river Neretva, 13 km. from Rogotin on the road and railway line from Metkovic to Ploce. It is near the mouth of the Norin stream where it flows into Neretva. On the other side of the river is a well-preserved cylindrical tower, partly surrounded by defensive walls. It was erected in the year 1500 by Hodza Mustafa pasha. In the late 1685 it was taken over by the Venetian, aided by the local warriors. Large eel spawning ponds are located in the area.
