No title - expert review A name change and major renovation have modernized this sky-high tower near the United Nations. Rooms, which begin on the 28th floor, have breathtaking views, make generous use of warm woods and neutral tones, and have an array of up-to-the-minute telecommunications gadgets. The multilingual staff c... fodors.com

What a Deal! - user review The rooms are probably some of the largest standard rooms in Manhattan, but much less $ b/c it's midtown east instead of midtown. Almost a Great Hotel - user review We stayed at this hotel last October. The view of the UN and the East River was spectacular. Our room had been updated but the hotel itself is still a few step short of really great. Although newly refurbished, the upholstery on the couch was already faded. The wallpaper in our bathroom had never be... fodors.com
No title - user review 2 bed suite rooms were absolutely out of date looks like 1980's furnitures and some of them broken. Bath room has a lot of dirty stain between broken marble tiles. Cooler and heater have a lot noisy. Should be two star levels. I can believe it is 3 and half star level. Please, check it at first to s... mytravelguide.com
No title - user review Hotel pictures are misleading. It is maybe a 2.5 star hotel. The lobby is nice, but the rooms are old, with old TVs. The service at check in/check out were great. We ordered a bucket of ice to the room, had to call 3 times and took over 3 hours. Then called concierge to have them look up our train, ... mytravelguide.com
