Potomje is a village with a population of 264 at an elevation of 270 m. on the Peljesac peninsula. The world famous Dingac wine is produced by the vineyards of the area. It is located on the Ore-bic - Trstenik road. The village has a health station, a wine - vault, a shop and an inn.
The wine - vault, a shop and an inn. The wine - vault was built in the year of 1933. Dingac is on of the finest wines in Croatia, named after the Dingac locality in the vicinity of Potomje. Potomje got its name from the Toma hill at the foot of which it is settled. Apart from Dingac, the quality wine of Postup is also protected by law as an autochton wine brand. Dried figs are also one of the products of the area.
