Ruzici is the official name of a county the centre of which is in Gradac. It lies on the mountain slopes near Petrovo Polje, 13 km from Drnis and close to the Drnis-Donji Muc-Sinj road. The population is 240. Gradac is known for the Church of St. Mary built in 1710. Ruzici has its own post office and railway station.
Together with Otavice these two communities form an urban whole. Otavice is famous for the mausoleum of the greatest Croatian sculptor, Ivan Mestrovic, who erected the monument in 1932 and was buried in it in 1962. During the 1992 war Serbo-Cetnik mobs damaged it severely.
