No title - expert review Perched over Water Tower Place, Michigan Avenue's best-known shopping mall, the Ritz-Carlton specializes in showering guests with attention. Amenities aren't for wont: rooms are spacious, with walk-in closets and separate dressing areas, plus little luxuries like Anichini bed throws. The two-story, ... fodors.com
No title - expert review With walnut paneling, tapestry carpeting, crystal chandeliers, and formal service, the Ritz Carlton's Dining Room is all about celebrations. Toast your occasion over saddle of rabbit with mustard dumplings, escargot from Burgundy, and confit of Tasmanian salmon. The oft-changing menu includes three-... fodors.com
No title - expert review Rather confusingly, the first thing to note is that the Ritz-Carlton is actually a Four Seasons, the sister property to the one across the street. Next is that, like its sister property, this is no stand-alone hotel, but set on top of a mall, high above the city. But once all that's straightened out... forbestraveler.com

Not surprisingly, the quality of the accommodations is of ... frommers.com

Luxurious !!!! - user review As a frequent traveller, I'm use to great hotels, but this is among the two or three greatest in the world for luxury and attentiveness. Not entirely Ritzy - user review We found a couple of drawbacks that a hotel of this calibre shouldn't have. We had room service breakfast 2 of the days of our stay, and it took 3 calls (and an hour and a half) to get them to pick up our room service cart after we were finished. I do realize, however, that it was probably a busy ti... fodors.com
Disappointing - user review We had a reservation for a room with a king bed. When we showed up, they said they didn't have any left and the only thing they could give us was a room with two SINGLE beds. I'm shocked that a hotel supposedly of a high calibre would do this. Our protests fell on deaf ears; they couldn't have cared... fodors.com
